Ocean Pollution

Because of the oil spills happened in the Gulf of Mexico, more people begin to pay more attention on ocean pollution. Most of the ocean pollution is caused by the increase in population and the expansion of industries which have created an increase in sewage and industrial waste effluent that is dumped into the ocean off the coast of most countries. This toxic material has added sludge to large areas, blocking sunlight from developing plants, destroying kelp forests and the habitat of marine animals and fish. The natural filtering systems in estuaries and wetlands have been drained and developed for land reclamation. These alterations to the relationship between land and ocean life destroy habitats and fish stocks. Each of these damaging effects interferes with the ocean's natural ability to deal with the disposal of toxic and non-toxic materials.

The solutions to these problems have to do with how everyone, from individuals to governments of countries and international organizations, applies their awareness of pollution problems. Individuals and the companies they work for can make good environmental decisions by routinely recycling materials, find new uses for products and choose to use less polluting material. By limiting the use and disposal of polluting materials, governments and industries can halt if not repair the damage to marine ecosystems. I believe it is possible to manage ocean pollution but the efforts needed must be applied by individuals, governments and industries, and acceptable to the international community.

The 11th Blog

Include this blog, I would have posted eleven blogs the semester. For my first blog, that was my very first time that I wrote a blog, I had never written any before, even in my first language. Since I began learning English, the only way in which I practiced my writing was just to write essays, from short essay to a long research paper. At the beginning, I did not know how to write it, I felt nothing could be talked about, I could not decide a topic, but after a few weeks, I was getting used to it. When I am writing an essay, I often write some big topics, and I used to do the same things at writing blog, but now, I have known that blog is just a place to express your feelings in your daily life, it could be everything. After writing these blogs, although I have not got big development of writing blog, I begin to like it. After this blog, I know that I am not required to write any more blogs, however, I would keep it up. Though I would not post two blogs every week, I would try to write something sometimes.

Adopt Child

My uncle and aunt adopted one orphan last week, the child is a 6-year-old girl comes from China, they has a good family, he has a ten-year-old son. They applied the application 6 years ago, so when they finally knew that they could have that girl become one of their family members. I told this to my friends, a lot of them said that they did not understand why they would like to adopt an orphan who was already 6 years old, the girl might already have her own personality which might be good or not, and they also had there own child. I could understand my friends, because I know it is not easy for parents to grow a child, and it is more difficult to grow one child that is not their own daughter. However, I also understand my uncle more, the girl is an orphan who never had love from her parents before, no one took care of her, and no one considered her seriously, and my uncle and aunt are very glad to help her, give her a new life, let her feel the love of the world, and they are also very happy to have a new daughter, they would have more fun in their life. If I have enough capacity in the future, I would adopt a child in the future.
